We have recently bought – for the first time – flannel sheets for winter use, but wonder if we can use them year-round. We live in California.

I need to buy flannel sheets, but I am not sure about how to choose good ones. Is it like regular sheets where you go with threadcounts? And how can you know if they will end up getting "pilled"?
