Are Flannel sheets better than jersey sheets? Which is better?

I’m looking for Mickey Mouse bedding w/ a sports theme. I’ve tried looking in every on-line store and can’t find it. I know it exists because I ran upon it one day but I wasn’t looking for it at the time. Now that I am, I can’t find it. Can somebody please help?!

Now that we live in the great white north, we can finally use the flannel sheets that my mother-in-law gave us. And we love them. They keep us very toasty. Unfortunately, with wear and wash, they have started to pill up. And they are no longer soft and smooth.

Does anyone have any recommendations for flannel sheets that you’ve used that wear well and stay soft and smooth?

My husband and I found our favorite crib bedding this weekend, despite knowing the baby’s gender. We have agreed that we want to use this bedding for a boy or girl, even though we also agree it definitely appeals to a boy’s nursery. When we showed this to our family & friends, though, they seemed shocked. It is a vintage Mickey Mouse sports set. We did not buy the entire set-just the bedding, lamp, & mobile. We want to add accent shelves or wall decals later. ( I’ve given links to the Babies R Us page. )

Has anyone else out there decorated a girl’s nursery with a "boy’s theme," or heard of anyone that did? I reckon not many (solely based on googling), but it’s hard to believe we’d be the only ones out there.

Brand new flannel sheets, Kings. Usually cost between 50-60 dollars, its really aggravating. Fuzz Balls!!! You move your legs, and feel them, I hate it.

We were originally doing monster trucks. thats what he said he wanted. I was looking online at bean bag chairs and he saw the basketball and baseball bean bag chairs and wanted them. I asked him if he wanted to do his room in sports instead of monster trucks and he said he wanted both! How can I put them together? Or should I just show him some different cool bean bag chairs? I am going for plain bedding and curtains, maybe red and blue. Im not crazy about the "theme: bedding sets. other than that-Im open to any suggestions! thanks!

I am searching for the very best flannel sheets made. (expense not an issue) I am searching for ones that do not get the little "fuzzies" some do after wear and use.

I just fell in LOVE with microfiber sheets. I’m dreading washing them because I’m afraid they’ll pile and lose their softness. What are the best detergents/softeners for them? Flannel, too.

I have a 4 month old son and his bedroom has a sports theme. We already have the bedding, some sports decails, a rug, and some sports frames but I was wanting to know if anyone has any creative inexpensive ideas on what else we could do. We want it to be all sports, or at least I do, while his dad wants a big emphasis on baseball . We are currently renting so we can’t do too much. AND there are this really annoying built in shelf that line the entire bedroom where a border would go at the top of the room. Any ideas would be appreciated….
