Baby Girl Nursery w/ Sports Theme?
My husband and I found our favorite crib bedding this weekend, despite knowing the baby’s gender. We have agreed that we want to use this bedding for a boy or girl, even though we also agree it definitely appeals to a boy’s nursery. When we showed this to our family & friends, though, they seemed shocked. It is a vintage Mickey Mouse sports set. We did not buy the entire set-just the bedding, lamp, & mobile. We want to add accent shelves or wall decals later. ( I’ve given links to the Babies R Us page. )
Has anyone else out there decorated a girl’s nursery with a "boy’s theme," or heard of anyone that did? I reckon not many (solely based on googling), but it’s hard to believe we’d be the only ones out there.

My daughters nursery doesn’t really have a theme. But I think that one is really cute.
It doesn’t matter what gender it appeals to, it’s not like your baby is going to care what their room looks like lol
As long as you and your husband like it, that’s all that matters. You guys, your family and your friends will all know the gender of your baby, the furniture won’t matter
And I doubt you guys are the only ones to do it too. So if you like it, go for it! I think they are adorable!
EDIT: Soon to be a mommy, it’s probably the blues. But like you said, who cares! You have adorable bedding too
it’s cute. I have all gender neutral things and a purple travel system for my son (and I’m getting him a baby doll soon). the people that will be in your house, seeing your nursery will know your baby is a girl (if she is a girl). it’s not like girls don’t wear red, blue, or play sports. I think it’s cute and your baby won’t know the difference — if you like it, go for it. you can definitely add some ‘girly’ touches too if you feel compelled to.
Im having a little girl, and me and my husband chose winnie the pooh and for some reason people think that this is very boyish… i dont really give a crap. I think your bedding is very cute. There is nothing wrong with the choices you have made for your daughter

If you like the decor, who cares what others will think? And, your baby girl certainly will not mind. I have a baby girl and her bedding was purchased from the "boy" section of bedding on the babies r us website. It is brown teddy bears. Then, I just added some pink accent colors in the nursery, but certainly didn’t need to. Babies love brightly colored things, so I am sure your little girl will love her room.
It doesnt really matter what others think, it is "your" childs room. Your child will not know the difference. I have a green and brown bunny set for my daughter and have 3 friends that have the same for their sons. My daughter is 8 months old and has no idea if it is boyish or girlish. She points at the bunnies and that is it. Your baby will love the mickeys!!! I like this set a lot and wish I saw it when we were looking. And you could always add girly accents if it is a girl
. Have fun decorating the nursery!
I think it’s very cute for a girl or boy, and plus if u and ur husband like it for both, then use it no matter which gender u have, as it’s ur child and not ur family and friends child. I don’t think that girl’s nurseries hafta be really girly, it should be what the parents like, as the baby isn’t gonna care at all.
Hope this helps and good luck,

That is adorable! My son loves Mickey Mouse. I wish we would have done his room in that!
I think boys themes are okay for girls, just not pinks for boys. lol.
