Should you have a “theme” to a child’s room? My son wants trucks/sports, how can I put both & make it look ok?
We were originally doing monster trucks. thats what he said he wanted. I was looking online at bean bag chairs and he saw the basketball and baseball bean bag chairs and wanted them. I asked him if he wanted to do his room in sports instead of monster trucks and he said he wanted both! How can I put them together? Or should I just show him some different cool bean bag chairs? I am going for plain bedding and curtains, maybe red and blue. Im not crazy about the "theme: bedding sets. other than that-Im open to any suggestions! thanks!

do a road around the room, trees, stickups of baseball players, make it an outdoors type bedroom

look at the colors of the trucks and then combined the sport colors to match Cool
I don’t know if you are planning on painting the walls or not but you could like get stencils of monster trucks and pain one wall with like a monster truck and boulders and whatever else then like have sport accessories like lamps, night lights, dresser pulls, chairs, shelves etc.
you could get one of those carpets with the monster truck themes on them and like curtains then pain the room a plain color and put up one of those things that go around the wall that are like wall paper but more like trip around the top of the walls.
Jcpenny’s has allot of cute sport things for kids rooms.

good luck and have fun.
go to the local thrift store get some sheets. have your son paint or pin the pics. of his trucks and sports stuff on them hang them on the walls this will give he and you a chance to look at the design with out making a mess of things. worked with my kids.
I Agree the best way to tie 2 themes together is to colour co-ordinate them. Go with a colour theme, then you can work whatever your son wants into it by using those colours.
Personalised wall art like canvases and removable decals work great – and as the kids get older and their tastes change, they are easy to remove.
Well i personally think that you should try for the “truck bed” which are available in market or you can take help of carpenter to build it for your child..Rather painting trucks on the wall, your child will be happy if you do so…
